It is a time for children to go far from the reality of doctors and hospitals that they face everyday, to a world of fantasy and imagination. A wish is a day, or a week without a thought of being sick and a time to just remember being a kid. The smiles, laughter, and tears of joy are symptoms that these children and families would not trade in for the world. The power of a wish cannot be measured, but we do know that many times a wish provides a reason to continue fighting.
