Activity Director Boot Camp Celebrates 21 Graduates

Welcome Home RGV is thrilled to celebrate 21 incredible activity directors who have officially conquered our 2025 Activity Director Boot Camp! This lively, hands-on program is designed to help RV park activity directors discover—and fall in love with—the people, places, and experiences that make the Rio Grande Valley such a special destination for our Winter Texan community.

Over the course of the program, participants dove into interactive workshops, swapped ideas with fellow directors, and experienced South Texas through fun and informative familiarization tours. By completing Boot Camp, these graduates are now proudly stepping into their roles as South Texas Ambassadors—championing not only the RV parks they represent, but the entire region.

At Welcome Home RGV, we understand that many activity directors are brand new—not just to the job, but to the Valley itself. Boot Camp gives them a head start: a chance to connect with peers, share best practices, explore the area, and discover all the attractions, entertainers, and hidden gems that help create memorable experiences for Winter Texans.

Armed with fresh ideas, new friendships, and a deeper understanding of the Valley, these graduates are ready to make this season unforgettable.
