JC was raised in a family where music played a very important role. He was influenced at a very young age by his musical surroundings. At the age of 10 he discovered his love for the guitar. He began working with horses at the age of 15 and realized his passion for American Country Music. He was inspired by country greats as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Hank Williams, Clint Black, Alabama and many more. He worked diligently to achieve his biggest dream of becoming a country music performer.His career became a reality at the age of 25 when he began performing in Quebec. The audience applauded him as a true country star. This gave him the confidence to take his musical talent to Nashville. His first recording session in 2001 was an instant success with the music fans of Quebec. His self produced album called Deeper in Love was named English album of the year in 2002. During the same year, JC received the entertainer of the year award, and his son Mexican Vacation was named song of the year.In 2003 JC did his first appearance as the old Hank with a Hank Williams Sr. Tribute on the 50th anniversary of his death. He continues this tribute as well as a tribute to Johnny Cash which is a must see.In 2015 he began touring in the Rio Grande Valley and has a full schedule for 2016. JCs popularity is growing every day. A lot of fans even call him Mr. Country.
