Wade Benson Landry is a master of his stringed instrument and brings a variety of Country, Western Swing, Blues and Gospel music to life with his influence of toe tappin Cajun variations. A native Cajun from Abbeville, Louisiana where at an early age he began singing and playing drums, fiddle and guitar. He quickly established a great versatility for playing different styles of music.After twice winning the title of Louisiana State Fiddle Champion he made his way to Nashville, Tennessee where he became a featured performer with some of the greats in Country Music such as: Jimmy C. Newman, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, The Oak Ridge Boys, Dottie West, Jean Sheperd, Mel Tillis, Hank Thompson, The Texas Playboys and many more.Along the way the credits have added up with years of appearances on The Grand Ole Opry and touring the world entertaining at major venues such as: Carnegie Hall and The Wembley Country Music Festival in London where his performance landed him a whopping 5 encores!Thrilling millions with his high energy fiddle style and his ability to touch the hearts of his audience with his warm personality has led to countless television appearances including: the CMAs Award Show, NBSs The Tonight Show, Reach For The Stars with Bob Hope and two appearances on the History Channels Cajun Pawn Stars.Landry is something of a comedian and regales his audiences with hilarious antics and stories that will add to the incredible time you will have at his performances. He has the ability to connect with the audiences and bring the culture and fun of Louisiana to any stage with his music and showmanship.These days Wade performs with his wife, Teresa Bowe Landry, in their own show Swingin Cajun Styleat The Wheelhouse Restaurant in Branson, Mo. The National Traditional Country Music Association recently inducted Wade into Americas Old Time Country Music Hall Of Fame.
