A Manager Who Does It All
At Palm Resaca Park in Brownsville, we are lucky to have an outstanding Park manager. Misty Bernal brings energy, positivity, and warmth to everything she does. She is not only knowledgeable and cheerful but also always approachable when working with both residents and visitors. Her problem-solving skills help maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. In addition, her clear communication and organization make sure the park operates efficiently each day. It’s no surprise that holiday cookie decorating with Misty adds even more warmth to our community.
A Sweet Surprise Beyond the Job
Beyond her role, Misty adds extra joy to our community. She is an incredible home chef who really enjoys holiday cookie decorating. Her Facebook feed shows colorful desserts that always leave us drooling. Sometimes she even treats our morning coffee group to one of her baked delights. As a result, everyone looks forward to her surprise visits and the extra cheer they bring.
Holiday Cookie Decorating with Misty
Recently, Misty hosted a cookie decorating session for a group of ladies in the park. First, she prepared a rainbow of frostings and got piping bags ready. Then, she welcomed everyone into the Rec Center kitchen to start the lesson.
When the group arrived with their cookies, Misty shared easy decorating tips. She recommended keeping icing away from the edges. Then she showed how to fill the center and smooth it with a toothpick or scribe tool. Next, she reminded everyone to work in stages to avoid flooding. Finally, she suggested letting the cookies dry for several hours so they would stack better. These clear steps made the session fun and easy to follow.
A Creative and Joyful Gathering
Creativity quickly filled the room. Each person added their unique touch, resulting in festive cookie designs. More importantly, the event encouraged bonding. Neighbors decorating side by side laughed, exchanged ideas, and built stronger connections during their holiday cookie decorating with Misty experience.
