Get in the holiday spirit and join us for a special Tree Lighting Ceremony at the South Padre Island Multi-Modal Facility Thursday, November 30, at 5:30 p.m. Enjoy a warm welcome from Mayor Patrick McNulty as he lights the Christmas tree, officially beginning the holiday season on South Padre Island. 

Don’t miss the Annual Christmas Street Parade Friday, December 1, starting at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family to watch as beautifully decorated floats pass by on Padre Boulevard. 

The 37th Annual Lighted Boat Parade returns Saturday, December 2, as illuminated boats of all sizes cruise through the Laguna Madre Bay in their holiday finest. Designated viewing areas throughout the route offer free public viewing starting at 6.

Accompanying the Lighted Boat Parade is the return of Winter Wonderland, held at The Green at Jim’s Pier Saturday, December 2. It is an event for all ages as the kid zone, bounce houses, and trainless train set a festive scene. Guest appearances by Santa! 

Enjoy delicious pancakes with the North Pole’s most famous resident. Breakfast with Santa will be hosted at the South Padre Island Convention Center Sunday, December 3, from 9. to 11 a.m.

Immerse yourself in holiday magic at the Island’s Holiday Light Show and enjoy a holiday-themed lighted musical performance from dusk until 9 p.m. daily, November 20 through January 15 (2024) at the South Padre Island Entertainment District.
