Magic Valley RV Park opened in 1971. At that time, it was exclusively an RV park. Gradually Park Models were moved in and residents began returning year after year. Eventually, a second section devoted to mobile homes was opened. The original office and the gathering room were expanded. A new kitchen and game room were included in the expansion. Today the hall has a sound and projection system, and a stage. The hall can seat over 300 people. Other buildings were added and today there is a modernized laundry, an activity center (Haswell Hall), and a pool hall that has 11 tables. The pool and hot tub were modernized and are heated all year. In addition, the lounge area of the original building added a TV, a library, and a calling station where residents can make free calls to Canada. A resident association is in charge of the activities – and there are lots of activities.
