Tamale Science Workshop

Discover the influence of corn in art through the IMAS Mexican and Latin American Folk Art collection. Learn about the cultural significance of tamales in Mexican and Latin American History, including the process of nixtamalization. In this hands-on adult workshop, participants will practice spreading masa, making tamales, and exploring the tamale-making process.
