MXLAN is a 3-day summer art and music festival that celebrates young Latino culture through immersive experiences in art, music, and community. This vibrant celebration returns to the McAllen Convention Center with:
The Artisan Mercado, featuring handmade goods, clothing, art, and more
Live mural painting throughout the weekend in Creator in Motion
High-energy performances including folklórico, fire dancers, and live music
The colorful Calenda Parade, bringing movement and tradition to the outdoor plaza
A wide variety of food and drink vendors offering local flavors and festival favorites
The Neon Nights 5K on opening night (May 9), with medals, shirts, and free fest admission for participants
Fireworks and the iconic burning of the MXLAN letters to close out the night
