Doors open at 8:00 am. The Showcase hours are from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm with a break from 12:00 – 1:00 for lunch.

For a list of all performers, visit our Entertainer Showcase Performer page. We will have a list for you in your packet when you check in at the event. Note, that the list is created alphabetically by design. The lineup is always subject to change and you will receive the schedule on each day of the Showcase.

We’ve asked each entertainer to create an online profile, and for those that have we’ve flagged them as performing in the 2024 Showcase. Here’s a link to preview the entertainers.

Accommodations

Looking for a place to stay? Here are a few options:

• Tropic Winds RV Resort in Harlingen has discounted RV rates available for you. Their regular daily rate is $58.00 and they are offering a 50% discount for you of $29.00 a day,  and it is all-inclusive.  Their RV sites have full hook-ups and are 40’X50′ back-ins, 50 amp electric, water, sewer, trash, and cable TV.  Here is a link with more information.

Arrival & Parking

Please enter through the Casa de Amistad entrance. Below is a map marked where to enter and the best place to park. You will need to check in with us upon arrival to get your badges which will grant you entry into the booking area. 

Concessions/Lunch

We will break for an hour for lunch. We will have light concessions, with pizza by the slice, light snacks, coffee, water, and soft drinks. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch. We have a designated lunch room, where you can meet with entertainers and eat a quick bite.

Showcase Rules

Turn all cell phone ringers to vibrate, and any calls, incoming or outgoing must be made in the lobby. Be respectful to the performers and wait for breaks to chat with others. No videotaping allowed.

Booking Room

Your All Access Passes will grant you access to the booking area. We will use a texting app so that you can reserve your spot in line and continue to watch the show. You will be notified via text when you need to make your way to the booking room.

Booking Forms

Use your booking forms or contracts. We will not require a copy of anything between you and the entertainer.

All Access Passes for Activity Directors

Welcome Home RGV Member Parks will receive four (4) complimentary VIP Showcase All Access passes. Non-member parks can purchase four (4) VIP Showcase All Access passes for $10.00 each.

All VIP Showcase All Access passes are valid for both days, grant access to the booking room, transferable (can’t attend both days? No problem, your badges can be given to whomever you choose). Note: Due to limited seating, only four (4) All Access Passes are allowed per park.

General Admission Tickets

We will sell general admission tickets to the public, so if any of your residents or committee members want to attend, they are welcome to purchase tickets! General Admission tickets are for balcony seating, although we do have a limited number of handicapped seats in the auditorium.
